Strikeforce held the official pre-fight press conference for Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Jardine on Thursday afternoon, featuring a panel of middleweight champion Luke Rockhold and former UFC contender Keith Jardine. Former light heavyweight champion Muhammed Lawal, rising prospect Lorenz Larkin, veteran brawler Robbie Lawler and Russian knockout artist Adlan Amagov were also in attendance.

As he has in the weeks leading up to the event, Rockhold consistently ruffled his opponent's feathers throughout the Q&A session. "There's no secret he's coming towards the end of his career," the champion declared. "He's trying to fight back and he's done pretty well for himself after the UFC. But it's like this: I'm on my way up. He's on his way out. Ain't nothing going to change Saturday night." To which Jardine promptly responded, "Yeah, I'm just getting started, by the way."

Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Jardine is slated for January 7th at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rockhold defends his Strikeforce middleweight title against Jardine in the night's main event.
