Official UFC on Fox 2 weigh-ins were held at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT at The Chicago Theater in Chicago, Illinois and streamed live on MMA Nation. All fighters on the card made weight, including light heavyweight headliners Rashad Evans (205) and Phil Davis (205).
After a lead-up filled with collegiate wrestling trash-talk, Davis sported a Penn State singlet as he tipped the scales. "Rashad's a great fighter. He's always put on great fights and I cant wait to test my skills on him," Davis said afterward. "This is definitely a fight I'm going to build my career off of."
Evans' rebuttal was short and to the point. "We've both said a lot," he declared to his hometown crowd. "It's time to see what's going on and who's going to back up their words."
