Dennis Siver has a date in Stockholm after all.
Following a premature booking against Ross Pearson, Siver has agreed to meet Diego Nunes on the fight card of UFC on Fuel TV 2, according to reports from Swedish outlet mmanytt.se.
A 32-year-old striking specialist, Siver (19-8) makes his 145-pound debut following a two-minute TKO loss to Donald Cerrone at UFC 137. The eye-opening setback snapped a four-fight win streak that had pushed the German's name into title contention.
Nunes (17-2), meanwhile, hopes to continue his climb up the rankings after rebounding from a tough loss to Kenny Florian by defeating Manny Gamburyan at UFC 141. A winner of four of his last five contests, "The Gun" has fought to decision in eight straight appearances.
UFC on Fuel TV 2 takes place April 14th, 2012 at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. Fast-rising Swedish light heavyweight Alexander Gustafsson takes on Pride veteran Antonio Rogerio Nogueira in the night's main event.
