Middleweight bruiser Jared Hamman (13-4) has been scratched the fight card of UFC on FX 2 after sustaining an undisclosed injury in training.
Undefeated Legacy Fighting Championships champion Andrew Craig (6-0) has signed with the UFC and will now debut against Kyle Noke (19-5-1) at the Australian event. UFC officials confirmed the switch late Thursday.
A 26-year-old prospect out of Houston, Texas, Craig enters the Octagon after a successful two-year run on the southwestern regional circuit. The Bellator veteran has three finishes to his credit and last fought in September, defeating Eric Schambari to successfully defend his LFC title.
Meanwhile, the 31-year-old Noke hopes to get back on track after having a five-fight win streak snapped by a brutal inverted heel hook loss to Ed Herman at UFC on Versus 5.
UFC on FX 2 is slated for March 3rd, 2012 at the Allphone Arena in Sydney, Australia. A welterweight match-up between Martin Kampmann and Thiago Alves is the night's main event.
