UFC President Dana White released a last minute video blog in advance of Friday night's UFC on FX 1: Guillard vs. Miller debut.
White kicks off the video with a few housekeeping items before breaking news about Mark Munoz's injury to the world via Twitter, then previewing the first act of UFC 143 Primetime and subsequently gushing about it to Nick Diaz.
We then travel with the president as he visits the set of The Ultimate Fighter 15. Despite some early reading comprehension problems, White takes us on a tour of the old set, showing off the poor little doors that seemingly get smashed every season.
Afterward TUF 15's two coaches, Urijah Faber and Dominick Cruz, stop by to drop their prediction's for Friday's fights. Faber goes with Duane Ludwig for the co-main event, but splits the fence on the headliner, saying Melvin Guillard wins if it's a finish, but Jim Miller takes it if it reaches decision. Cruz is a bit more definitive, declaring Josh Neer and Guillard to be the victors.
Finally we move on the Thursday's weigh-ins from Nashville, Tennessee. Cortland Finnegan of the Tennessee Titans drops in to chat up White, before the scene moves to a snapshot of the bizarre life of a fighter, as Miller and Guillard awkwardly sit next to each making uneasy small talk before hitting the scales. The video closes out from there, but the inherent weirdness of hanging out right next to the guy you're going to fight 24 hours later is quite striking.
