Official UFC on FX 1 weigh-ins were held on Thursday at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee and streamed live on MMA Nation. All main card fighters made weight, including lightweight headliners Melvin Guillard (156) and Jim Miller (155). Afterward, both men appeared to be in high spirits.
"Expect a great fight between Melvin and I. We're two of the best guys in the division," Miller jovially said." We're going to put a show for you guys."
"Been the underdog my whole life, so I'm used to it. I perform my best when I'm the underdog," a confident Guillard retorted. "Miller is an awesome fighter, but I feel the same way about myself. I think we're going to give Nashville a great fight."
Notably, undercard fighter Fabricio Camoes (157.5) missed the lightweight limit of 156 pounds for his scheduled contest against Tom Hayden. Camoes has been given an additional two hours to cut weight.
UPDATE: Camoes has successfully weighed-in at 156 pounds.
