Former Strikeforce heavyweight champ, Dream heavyweight champ and K-1 Grand Prix champion Alistair Overeem has released another installment of his ongoing "behind the scenes" documentary "The Reem."
Aging porn star Ron Jeremy has a cameo in this episode as Overeem travels to Los Angeles to "make some big decisions."
Overeem goes into a little bit of the backstory behind his being cut by Strikeforce, his Golden Glory teammates being cut, and then ultimately working out a deal with Zuffa to join the UFC where he'll face Brock Lesnar in the headliner of UFC 141.
Overeem says he's traveling to America to check it out as a possible place to live, to train. He's visiting gyms including Antoni Hardonk's in L.A. Hardonk talks about Overeem's visit and their training session.
Alistair goes to South Beach to see some Muay Thai fights and support some of his Golden Glory teammates.
UFC announcer Joe Rogan is another guest. Rogan talks about Overeem's move up to heavyweight and struggles with stamina due to the excessive weight cut.
In the exciting climax, Overeem goes to the UFC offices in Las Vegas, meets with CEO Lorenzo Fertitta and signs his UFC contract.
