Above is the audio (in four parts) of Monday's media call to promote UFC on Versus 6: Cruz vs. Johnson. Present on the call is UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz and number-one contender Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson, alongside heavyweight co-headliners Pat Barry and Stefan Struve.
The call was relatively subdued compared to recent events, with all four competitors showing complete respect to their opponents. Both Cruz and Johnson appear focused and ready heading into Saturday's big show, though the champion signified he will have a significant advantage with his extended range.
On the other end Pat Barry stole the show with the little facetime he received, spouting a wide variety of entertaining anecdotes and one-liners. "Since I was a little kid I wanted to be a ninja," he said with a chuckle. "I was a Van Damme fanatic. Ninja Turtles playing Street Fighter with Sagat.
"This is a real life video game. I'm short Sagat. That's all I ever wanted to be. And I get to be paid for it? Ridiculous."
UFC on Versus 6 will be held on October 1st at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. Tickets are on sale now.
