UFC 140 Fight Card: Krzysztof Soszynski Returns Against Igor Pokrajac

A light heavyweight bout between Krzysztof Soszynski (26-11-1) and Igor Pokrajac (23-8) has been targeted for UFC 140. The pair were previously scheduled to fight at UFC 131 before Pokrajac was forced off the card with an injury. The status of the contest has not yet been determined between the main card and the undercard. UFC officials confirmed the announcement on Thursday.

A veteran of "The Ultimate Fighter Season 8," Soszynski has become an extremely active member of the UFC's roster, fighting seven times since the show's finale in December of 2008. The 34-year-old native of Poland holds notable wins over Brian Stann and Stephan Bonnar, and has thrice won post-fight bonuses -- two for "Submission of the Night" and one for "Fight of the Night."

Across the cage, Pokrajac enters the cage for the second time this year, and is looking to win consecutive bouts for the first time since 2009. Known as "The Duke," the 32-year-old Croatian last competed in March, defeating Todd Brown via TKO in the first round.

UFC 140 is slated for December 10th at Toronto's Air Canada Centre. A headlining bout has yet to be determined.
