MMA Nation's Luke Thomas captured the press scrum with UFC president Dana White after the UFC 135 pre-fight press conference.
In this video White addresses the Nick Diaz situation wherein Diaz missed two press conferences and was pulled from the UFC 137 headliner against UFC welterweight champ Georges St. Pierre and was moved into the co-headliner against B.J. Penn.
"Diaz is coming from these smaller organizations where the inmates ran the asylum. If he missed a Strikeforce press conference before we owned it, what was Scott Coker going to do, pull his main event? He wasn't in a position to do that," White said.
White says he spoke to Diaz for an hour and that he has "a good rapport with the kid."
White also addresses questions about GSP's habit of fighting more cautiously by saying that GSP is by far the biggest pay-per-view draw in the UFC but White does admit he "doesn't fight like he used to."
