Above is the audio (in four parts) of Monday's media call to promote UFC 135: Jones vs. Rampage. Present on the call is UFC light heavyweight champion Jon "Bones" Jones, former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, former UFC welterweight champion Matt Hughes, and welterweight contender Josh Koscheck.
A majority of the call was spent delving into the ongoing war of words between Jones and Jackson. While "Rampage" didn't disclosed specific examples, he stated that Jones was cocky, and first initiated the conflict with side remarks during the UFC's press conference in Denver.
On the other end, both Hughes and Koscheck spoke in detail about making their return to the Octagon after long layoff periods. Most noteworthy, Hughes casually mentioned that the time off served him well, and he could be nearing the end of his Hall of Fame career. "My wife tells me I'm done fighting," he said.
UFC 135 is scheduled for September 24th at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. Tickets are on sale now.
