The HBO pay-per-view bout between Floyd Mayweather and Victor Ortiz got continued into the second round live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada saw the crowd chant "Ortiz" as the two men came out of the corner. And Victor did start to find his left hand a little bit in the early going.
Ortiz did work backward and find himself against the ropes but came off to land a right hand and then went downstairs with two hard punches. Mayweather landed a solid right hand but Ortiz bullied him into the corner and landed a few solid power punches, doing the same moments later in another corner.
Round two was a much better round than many anticipated Victor having at any point in the fight. Mayweather did manage to land a few right hand but Ortiz did the better work.
