Patrick Barry Working On New Moves For Stefan Struve

New, 1 comment

Never one to rest, UFC heavyweight prospect Patrick Barry is hard at work in the gym preparing for 6-11 opponent Stefan Struve. Standing a full foot shorter at 5-11, Barry will have to bring some ingenuity into the cage to deal with "Skyscraper". So, needless to say, he's be testing out some new moves.

As one of the most unique characters in the UFC, Barry has charmed fans with his silly antics and amicable personality, while wistfully rambling through interviews about his desire to be a ninja since he was a little kid.

Yet, for a man that list Street Fighter's Sagat as a personal hero in his UFC profile, the 32-year-old is all business when it comes to the cage. Barry is looking to rebound from his remarkable performance against Cheick Kongo -- in which he snatched defeat straight from the jaws of victory -- by hand-delivering Struve his fourth highlight-reel knockout loss inside the Octagon.

The two will clash at the co-headlining event of UFC on Versus 6. The event is scheduled to be held at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. on October 1st, and will be broadcast live on Versus.
