It wasn't the prettiest fight in UFC history, but middleweights Rafael "Sapo" Natal and Paul Bradley gave it their all. The judges liked what they saw from Sapo more and awarded him a unanimous decision. Natal managed to fend off most of Bradley's single leg take down attempts, kicked his lead leg until Bradley's left thigh was an enormous swollen red welt and got back up quickly when Bradley did manage to take him down.
Official Result: Rafael Natal beats Paul Bradley by unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, and 29-28)
Bradley was a short-notice substitute who stepped in just last week when Constantinos Philippou got the call to move up to the main card and face Jorge Rivera. Philippou was actually the second opponent Natal was set to face. Originally Riki Fukuda was to fight, but he got hurt in a car wreck and had to bow out.
Bradley made his UFC debut after getting booted off The Ultimate Fighter a few years back for having a nasty skin rash that turned out to be herpes and got him kicked off the show.
