In other MMA action this weekend, former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski was back in the cage for Pro Elite. The hard hitting boxer headlined a show in Hawaii against Ray Lopez, stopping his unheralded opponent in the third round. Sherdog.com caught up with a relieved Arlovski after the fight.
"I almost started crying in the cage. But I act like a tough man...I feel great right now. Like (when) baby first starts walking. First step. I feel like I did first step right now...I start to rebuild my MMA career right now and I'm very excited...I'm very excited, I'm very happy, and I feel great. After four losses in a row, [all my trainers] did a great job and I really appreciate all the people who still believe in me, who were sure I'm not done. I'm sure I'm not done and I will be champion again."
