The second fight of the UFC 134 pay-per-view is a heavyweight bout, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Brendan Schaub. A Brazilian legend, Nogueira claims to be healthy for the first time in years after dropping two of his last three contests. Across the cage, Schaub enters the bout nearing title contention after rolling off a tremendous four-fight win streak since losing at the season finale of the "Ultimate Fighter 10." The referee overseeing the action is Herb Dean.

ROUND 1 - The Brazilian crowd is heavily pro-Nogueira as the two fighters touch gloves in the center of the cage. Schaub presses forward trapping Nogueira against the cage. The pair release back to the middle, and a Nogueira shot is stuffed. Schaub pries with his jab. A huge looping Nogueira hook lands flush on the jaw of Schaub but he presses forward. Nogueira lands a stiff jab, before ducking under a wild hook. Schaub lands a pair of combinations capped by a hard right uppercut. Nogueira crushes Schaub with a big right hand. Schaub is out on his feet. Nogueira swarms, crumbling the American with a flurry of punches. Dean rushes in to stop the action as Schaub hits the mat face-first.
