The second fight of the night for UFC 134 is a featherweight bout, Felipe Arantes vs. Yuri Alcantara, streamed live on Facebook. Alcantara makes his debut at 145 pounds, entering the Octagon on the heels of an eleven fight win streak. The referee is charge of the action is Mario Yamasaki.

ROUND 1 - The two open up with a pair of furious exchanges, with Alcantara getting the better of it. Arantes lands an inside leg kick, and another. Alcantara pushing forward, just misses a wild left hand. Arantes backs off but Alcantara shoots in and secures the takedown. Alcantara resting in half guard, trying to stay busy. Alcantara postures up and rains blow on Arantes before transitioning to side control. Arantes holds onto a leg, preventing Alcantara from taking mount. Blood is dripping down the face off Arantes. Yamasaki stands the fighters and Arantes just misses a wild combination. Thirty seconds left in the first round. Alcantara misses a knee to the head, and the pair trade blows one more time before the round ends.

ROUND 2 - The two touch gloves as they settle in the center of the cage. Alcantara misses a head kick and Arantes answers with a leg kick. Arantes misses a front kick and Alcantara shoots in for the takedown. Alcantara lands on top of half-guard, but Arantes quickly transitions to a closed guard. Alcantara pauses and then passes directly into side control. The Brazlian crowd is growing restless. Alcantara transitions to full mount and postures up. Alcantara tries to set up a triangle but Arantes scrambles out. Alcantara back in the guard. Yamasaki stands the fight back up. Arantes presses forward, mixing up combinations. Alcantara rushes into the clinch, eating a knee before taking Arantes down to the mat. Thirty second remain in the round. Alcantara seems content to wait the round out in half guard.

ROUND 3 - Third and final round. Arantes comes out aggressive throwing a high kick, but Alcantara catches it and throws Arantes to the mat. Alcantara lands on the bottom but twists and reverses the position. Arantes resting in the guard of Alcantara. Arantes postures up and throws a big right hand that just misses. Arantes working the ground and pound, lands a stiff right hand. Arantes pauses for a moment and Yamasaki stands the fight back up. Alcantara immediately shoots in and takes Arantes to the mat, landing in half guard. The action slows to a halt and Yamasaki stands it back up. Alcantara shoots in a secures a single leg takedown. Arantes looks frustrated as Alcantara waits out the final bell.
