Yves Jabouin Highlights On Ian Loveland At UFC 134

Ian Loveland managed to implement enough of the Team Quest grinding control game plan to make the rounds pass like molassas. Unfortunately all Yves Jabouin needed to do was land one highlight reel worthy hurt shot per round to undo all of Loveland's hard work.

UFC 134 results: Yves Jabouin defeats Ian Loveland via split decision (27-30, 29-28, 29-28)

In the first round it was a staggering right hand when Loveland made the mistake of walking into Jabouin's power. In the second round it was a spinning backfist. In the third it was a spinning back kick to the nuts that didn't count on the judges score cards but surely hurt Loveland badly.

Nonetheless, one of the judges scored it 30-27 Loveland and the ref briefly held up Ian's hand when he heard the announcer yell "Eee." Fortunately the other two judges both saw it for Jabouin.

The fight was Jabouin's bantamweight debut. He improves to 1-1 in the UFC. Loveland drops to 0-2 in the UFC and may be done in the crowded UFC 135lb division.
