ROUND 1 - Loveland presses forward, throwing wild puches from the hip. Loveland tries to clinch but Jabouin pushes off and misses a high kick. Loveland catches a leg and throws Jabouin to the mat in the center of the cage. Goddard pauses the action to remove a piece of tape jutting out from Loveland's glove. The action is restarted on the feet and Jabouin lands a stiff kick to Loveland's side. Loveland answers with a stiff shot that briefly shakes Jabouin. Loveland lands a quick combination, but Jabouin answers with an overhand right that pushes Loveland back. Jabouin rushes in, just missing a flying knee as the bell rings.

ROUND 2 - Loveland shoots immediately and lands in side control. Jabouin reverses the position and settles into Loveland's guard. Jabouin staying active from the guard. Loveland briefly tries to grab an arm and then sweeps to the top, landing in half-mount. Jabouin twists away and stands back up. A brief period of inaction is met by boos from the Brazilian crowd. Jabouin throws a huge spinning back kick that lands directly into Loveland's liver, but he shakes it off. Jabouin throws a knee that hits Loveland in the groin. After a brief break the two engage in the center of the cage. Jabouin lands a huge spinning backfist. Loveland shoots in and takes Jabouin down, but the two quickly stand back up. Thirty seconds left in the round. The Brazilain crowd again voices their displeasure at the inaction. Jabouin shoots in and takes Loveland down to finish the round.

ROUND 3 - Loveland testing his range with controlled combinations. Jabouin keeping his distance with a front kick. Loveland shoots in but Jabouin stuffs the takedown. The crowd booing again. Jabouin changes levels and takes Loveland down, but the fight quickly stands back up. Jabouin misses a wild combination. Loveland blocks a spinning backfist. Jabouin lands a pair of leg kicks. Jabouin pressing forward, stuffs a takedown attempt from Loveland. Jabouin lands a kick to the side of Loveland. Jabouin barely misses a spinning back kick followed by a head kick. Thirty seconds left. Loveland lands astiff one-two combination. Jabouin shoots in but Loveland stuffs it to end the round.
