In case you missed it -- and it was truly one of those classic "don't blink or you'll miss it MMA moments" -- here's a Video HL of Pat Curran knocking Marlon Sandro out cold with a high kick to the head at last night's Bellator 48.
Sandro was outpointing Curran on the feet with uppercuts and winging hooks and looked to be on his way to cruising to a decision win and the featherweight summer series title. But alack and alas, Curran caught him leaning the wrong way and timed the high kick perfectly for the knock out.
Now Curran, a former Bellator LW tournament winner, can wait in line for a shot at featherweight champ Joe Warren. That is unless Patricio "Pitbull" Friere -- last season's tourny winner who had to defer his title shot due to injuries -- gets first crack at Warren.
Warren's schedule is also crowded by his entry into this season's Bellator 135lb tournament.
