The UFC will debut on Fox on November 12. In the meantime they've released the above promotional video to hype the new partnership.
Fox and their cable channel FX will feature UFC programming year round with four live event specials airing on Fox broadcast and The Ultimate Fighter airing live fights on Friday nights on FX.
The deal pays the UFC a reported $90 million/year. That's a big step up from the $35 million the Spike TV deal was estimated to be worth. The UFC had also been airing live fight events on the Versus channel. That will end with UFC on Versus 6 in October.
The UFC won't be the first mixed martial arts promotion on broadcast television in the U.S. Both Pro Elite and Strikeforce aired live fight cards on CBS in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Those CBS cards came to a bad end when an April 2010 event in Nashville featured a post-fight brawl inside the cage.
