Fighter salaries for ‘UFC on Versus 5' were released Thursday morning by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS). The total reported payroll for the event was $578,000.
Longtime UFC veteran Chris Lytle was the card's big earner, taking home $70,000 for his victory over British slugger Dan Hardy in the night's main event. Lytle also walked away with two separate $65,000 post-event bonuses for ‘Submission of the Night' and ‘Fight of the Night,' pushing his unofficial event earnings to $200,000.
‘The Ultimate Fighter" veteran Ed Herman also scored big for the night, taking home $52,000 -- including a $26,000 win bonus -- for his undercard submission victory over Kyle Noke.
Former WEC fighters Donald Cerrone ($44,000) and Joseph Benavidez ($43,000) rounded out the payroll on the heels of substantial win bonuses. Cerrone also took home an extra $65,000 for ‘Knockout of the Night.'
‘UFC on Versus 5' was held August 14th at Milwaukee's Bradley Center. 12 fights lined the reported payroll.
