UFC On Versus 5 Medical Suspensions: Jim Miller, Amir Sadollah, Four Others Out Indefinitely

13 fighters received medical suspensions following their performances at UFC on Versus 5. Indefinite suspensions were handed down to six, including main card participants Jim Miller and Amir Sadollah.

The Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) handed down medical suspensions to thirteen fighters following the aftermath of ‘UFC On Versus 5,' according to reports by MMAJunkie.com.

Surprisingly, six fighters received indefinite suspensions from the WDSPS as a result of their performance in last Sunday's fights. The number lies in stark contrast to the suspensions generally given out by state athletic commissions well-versed in the realm of mixed marital arts, such as the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC).

Jim Miller, Amir Sadollah, C.B. Dollaway, and Duane Ludwig all received indefinite suspensions due to undisclosed head injuries. Kyle Noke received a similar suspension for a knee injury, as did T.J. O'Brien due to rib and leg injuries. Each fighter's suspension can be waived following clearance from a licensed physician.

Alongside those men, seven other fighters on the card were suspended for 30 days due to various circumstances, including Dan Hardy, Ben Henderson, Charles Oliveira, Jim Hettes, Alex Caceres, Cole Miller, and Jason Reinhardt.
