The eighth and final preliminary fight of the night for UFC on Versus 5 is a bantamweight bout, C.B. Dollaway vs. Jared Hamman, streaming live on Facebook. Both men enter the match looking to rebound from a loss. A veteran of "The Ultimate Fighter 7", Dollaway was dropped in 54 seconds by Mark Munoz at UFC on Versus 3. Hamman makes his middleweight debut after dropping a decision to Kyle Kingsbury last September. The referee in charge of the action is Herb Dean.

ROUND 1 - The two fighters touch gloves in the center of the cage. Dollaway misses high with a head kick. Hamman pushing forward. Dollaway misses a combination and Hamman answers with a jab. Dollaway charges in swinging wildly, and transitions into a takedown. Dollaway pulls it to the ground but Hamman scrambles and gets back to the feet. Dollaway secures another takedown and lands in top position. Dollaway pushes for the choke and it's in. Hamman is staying calm but it's in tight. Hamman shows patience and slowly works his way out. Dollaway postures up and lands a crushing shot to Hamman, who scrambles and takes the fight back to the fight. Dollaway drags Hamman back down but ends up on the bottom. Hamman working the ground and pound from Dollaway's guard. Hamman stands up and jumps into Dollaway's half guard. Hamman transitions and Dollaway gives his back. Dollaway scrambles and the fight goes back to the feet. Dollaway lands a huge shot right hand that stuns Hamman. He lands another. Ten seconds left in the round. Hamman rushes in an clinches Dollaway, dragging him to the ground as the round ends.

ROUND 2 - Hamman opens with a few stiff jabs. Hamman is keeping a distance between himself and Dollaway. He lands another jab, and a series of combinations. Hamman is teeing off and Dollaway isn't retaliating. Hamman lands another combination and Dollaway rushes into the clinch. Hamman drags Dollaway to the ground and rains blows down. He lands another big shot that sneaks through Dollaway's defense. Hamman transitions to a mounted crucifix and drops vicious elbows onto Dollaway's head. Hamman moves into the mount and starts teeing off on Dollaway. Dollaway spins out and Hamman takes his back. Hamman turns Dollaway onto his side and continues the ground and pound assault. Herb Dean is warning Dollaway to defend himself. Hamman is relentless, landing shot after shot. Dean stops the fight.
