ROUND 1 - Both fighters start orthodox and Jones is stalking after a short exchange. Meham driving forward despite being tagged, pressing Jones against the fence. Mehman backs out and catches a monster flying knee. Mehman eats two more knees from the clinch, but appears to be ok. Meham eats two more knees to the body, but one of them appears to be an inadvertent groin shot. The fight is only temporarily stopped. Meham gets a double leg takedown and dives directly into side control. Meham now working from Jones' full guard. Jones trying to walk, but the attempts are rudimentary and feeble. Mehman isn't doing much on top, however.
MMA Nation scores this round 10-9 Jones.
ROUND 2 - Mehman dives immediately for the takedown and gets it, but he is badly, badly cut. The fight is temporarily stopped and the doctor is looking at it. It's a horrendous cut. Remarkably, the fight is going to continue. Mehman continues to work from on top, but with little to no damage. The round continues just like that for the entire duration. Terrible round.
MMA Nation scores this round 10-9 Mehman.
ROUND 3 - Mehman opens the round again with a double and gets it right away. Jones alternating between open and closed guard and again, Mehman doing nothing on top save for very minor damage. Midway through the round referee Herb Dean stands them up. Meham dives for a single, but can't get it. Mehman slowly advances the takedown piece by piece and is now working on top in half guard. Mehman moves to mount and this time doing some decent damage.
MMA Nation scores this round 10-9 Mehman and the fight 29-27 Mehman.
