Dana White Video Blog For UFC 133 (Day One)

New, 2 comments

UFC President Dana White today began his viral push to promote UFC 133: "Evans vs. Ortiz 2," releasing the first installment of his traditional video blog series.

There isn’t much hype about the pay-per-view (PPV) event in the six-minute clip … at all. Instead, we get a glimpse into what he’s been up to during the promotion’s rare month-long hiatus.

Relaxing didn't appear to be on the itinerary.

Jet skiing and surfing, as well as skateboarding with X-Games "Vert" 2011 gold medal winner, Shaun White, and Pierre Luc Gagnon, who won the same competition on three separate occasions, are just a few of his not-so-normal recreational activities.

White, 42, also apparently mixed it up in a Rage Against the Machine mosh pit, which you can see in shaky detail for about half the video — even though his expensive seats were sold out from underneath him just before showtime.

No big deal, apparently.

All that free time goes away real soon when UFC 133 goes live from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pa., on Aug. 6, 2011, kicking off a late summer stretch of busy mixed martial arts (MMA) action.

At least he seemed to enjoy it while it lasted.
