The fighters for Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson stepped onto the scales at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. All fighters were able to make weight. Most notably, former PRIDE heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko came in at 223lbs, nearly 10lbs lighter than in previous recent outings. His opponent, Dan Henderson, tipped the scales at 207lbs, making the weight disparity approximately 16lbs.
In the co-main event, Strikeforce women's welterweight champion Marloes Coenen will defend her title against challenger Meisha Tate. Both fighters made the 135lbs limit.
