Official UFC 140 weigh-ins were held at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada and streamed live on MMA Nation. All main card fighters made weight, including light heavyweight headliners Jon Jones (205) and Lyoto Machida (204). The Canadian crowd was surprisingly against Jones and loudly booed him as he hit the stage. However, the young champion took it in stride. "This is an awesome opportunity against an awesome opponent," said Jones. "I'm grateful for the situation and can't wait to play this game I'm in love with."
Machida appeared equally focused for the event. "It is a great opportunity for me," said the Brazilian. "(This is) my second time fighting here in Toronto and I'm very prepared and hope to do a great job tomorrow."
Also notable, undercard fighter Dennis Hallman (158.5) missed weight on his initial attempt. The veteran has additional time to reach the 156-pound lightweight limit.
UPDATE: Dennis Hallman has decided not to retake the scales. He will be fined a percentage of his purse.
