Pierson presses Kim into the fence and the two briefly jockey for position. Jab from Kim lands. Pierson lands a hard outside leg kick of his own, but eats a one-two hook combo from Kim. Right to the body from Kim. Front kick lands from Kim plus a left hand. Pierson fires his own outside leg kick. Pierson attempts a single, but eats another front kick to the face.

After a pass to side, Pierson manages to stand, but goes right back to the mat from a body lock takedown. Kim working now from Pierson's full guard. Referee Lavigne stands them up for perceived inactivity. Right hook partially lands for Pierson. Kim still attempting the front kick, but it's not landing.
