On the eve of Brock Lesnar's return from a 14-month layoff, the former heavyweight champion spoke candidly about his past wars, the glory of victory and his future in the UFC.
Most notably are Lesnar's comments as he reflects back on two of the biggest moments of his career -- defeating Randy Couture at UFC 91 to claiming the heavyweight title in his fourth professional fight and battling back from the brink to overcome Shane Carwin at UFC 116.
Fighting Randy Couture: For me it was just a great opportunity to fight a guy, the legit champion at the time, and the guy that paved the way for guys like myself. So to have the opportunity to be able to get into the Octagon with him and scrap against him, and be victorious, it's one of the highlights of my fight career.
Fighting Shane Carwin: Well I think that fight just exclaimates (sic) that I'm a tough son-of-a-b****. I laid underneath of a heavy-hitting guy and was able to withstand a heavy storm, and I get back up, dust yourself off, and get back on the horse again.
