UFC On FX Fight Card: Fabricio Camoes Reportedly Re-Signs To Duel Reza Madadi

Brazilian lightweight Fabricio Camoes has re-signed with the UFC and is slated to meet Swedish-Iranian prospect Reza Madadi at UFC on FX, according to reports from Tatame.

Madadi was originally scheduled to fight Rafaello Oliveira before a lingering hand injury forced "Tractor" off the card. UFC officials have yet to confirm the newest pairing.

A 33-year-old Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, Camoes (13-6-1) returns to the UFC after blitzing through wins over Efrain Escudero and Steve Lopez under the Tachi Palace Fights banner. In his prior Octagon run, Morango suffered a majority draw to Caol Uno before receiving his walking papers after a rear-naked choke loss to Kurt Pellegrino in mid-2010.

Across the cage, Swedish-Iranian wrestling standout Madadi (11-2) debuts in the UFC after blazing a trail across Europe en route to a six-fight win streak. Affectionately known as "Mad Dog", the 31-year-old has Octagon pedigree to his credit with wins over Zuffa veterans Rich Clementi, Junie Browning, and Carlo Prater.

UFC on FX takes place on January 20, 2012 in Nashville, Tennessee. Volatile lightweight Melvin Guillard duels former number-one contender Jim Miller in the night's main event.
