It looked doubtful for a moment, but Alistair Overeem vs. Brock Lesnar is officially locked in as the main event of UFC 141, according to a series of tweets from UFC President Dana White.
It appears Alistair Overeem fulfilled his end of the bargain. According to White, the Dutchman passed a supervised urine test in the United Kingdom after a contentious meeting with the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) last week.
As part of the agreement, "The Reem" will still face one more test once he lands stateside prior to the bout. In addition, Overeem is required to take two random tests over a six-month period after the contest.
Still, barring some kind of catastrophic injury, for now it appears the UFC will have their year-end mega-event.
