ROUND 3 - The face of Russell turned into a mess early in the frame as Davis showed himself to be the superior boxer. With the trademark jab, deft counterpunching and better athleticism, Davis cruised to another easy round. Russell even showed signs of desperation, blowing his nose and trying to clinch after getting tagged. Davis in control as this bout heads into its final round. ROUND 4 - Davis simply outclassed Russell not simply in the fight, but for sure in the round. Russell continued to be punished by the jab of Davis and was clearly rocked in the final minute of the round with hard hooks from the Maryland resident. Russell hung on, but took a beating in the process. MMA Nation scores this round 10-9 Davis and the fight 39-37.
