Antonio Margarito and Miguel Cotto do not like each other. Their animosity is not a part of the age old process of two guys pretending to have "bad blood" in hopes it generates a few more buys and draws a slightly bigger gate. This is real, genuine hatred.

The two men met with the press for the final press conference and we have some video of the event:

Some Highlight quotes (credit to Bad Left Hook for transcribing):

Margarito:

I've been called a criminal by this man next to me. I don't know why he calls me a criminal. I am not a person that beats up on his own family. [note: this is in reference to Cotto getting into a fight with his uncle and former trainer]

He says he's not going to have mercy for my eye. He can hit my eye as many times as he wants. He hits like a little girl. A super flyweight hits harder.

He can do whatever he wants. He's not going to beat me. Never.

Cotto:

If you don't know what criminal means, you can look it up in the dictionary. Someone that uses a weapon.

You're an embarrassment to boxing, OK?

This Saturday night, you're gonna see what this little girl is gonna do to you.
