ESPN cut highlights from last night's UFC 138 headlining bout between Mark Munoz and Chris Leben. Munoz was able to use his wrestling skills to repeatedly take Leben down or reverse position when Leben took him down. Once Leben was on his back, Munoz applied some vicious ground and pound to Leben's face. After two rounds of this, Leben was cut up and unable to see out of his right eye, forcing a stoppage.

ROUND 1 - Leben comes out southpaw, Munoz is orthodox. Inside leg kick from Munoz. Leben already stalking, but over commits and Munoz ducks under for a single leg takedown. Munoz on top in half guard. Leben wall walks his way back to his feet. Munoz dives in with a right hand, but Leben reverses position and takes Munoz down. Munoz is trying to stand, but Leben is landing several hard left hands. Now they separate. Leben drives forward with a right hook and now the two clinch along the fence. Leben catches a knee and dumps Munoz to the mat. Leben sits back on a guillotine attempt, but it's from half guard. Munoz escapes. Hard punches on top now from Munoz. Leben trying to stand and eats an extremely hard punch.
ROUND 2 - Leben bullies Munoz in the fence, but Munoz reverses and gets a trip takedown. Munoz on top in Leben's guard and he's landing incredibly hard punches. Leben, incredibly, stands up, although he's bleeding. Munoz again with a trip takedown and lands a hard right elbow. Both fighters are parallel to the fence. From the seatbelt position, Munoz unloads on Leben's face. After a brief scramble, the referee stops the fight temporarily to check the cut. Leben states he can see and the fight is resumed. Leben drives forward with punches, Munoz drops levels, but now hip heists to take Leben's back. Munoz in mount now driving incredibly hard punches to the head of Leben.
