ROUND 1 - The round opens and right away Mills looks to be stalking. Cope charges in with punches, but Mills gauges distance and puts a one-two punch combination together followed by an absolutely devastating knee. Referee Goddard nearly stops the fight but gives Cope another chance to recover. Cope finally stands half-heartedly off a whizzer from Mills, but then is absolutely blasted by another knee from Mills. Cope slumps face-first into the mat. That's it. The referee has seen enough and halts the bout.
