According the Twitter feed for UFC on Fox content, Sunday's UFC Primetime: Velasquez vs. dos Santos earned a 1.3 household rating. This news was reported as follows:

At 1.3 households, this would make this iteration of the UFC: Primetime series the highest-rated in series historyAccording to TV Sports Numbers, the show earned a .98 rating in men 18-49 and scored 2 million viewers.

According to a report by USA TODAY, UFC Fight Night 24: Nogueira vs. Davis, the event alluded to in the Tweet, actually scored a 1.5 household rating. That event also aired on Spike, which unlike Fox is a cable network. Fox, an over-the-air broadcast network, is available in approximately 112 million homes. Spike is available in approximately 99 million homes.

UFC Primetime: Velasquez vs. dos Santos aired in different times in different markets depending on whether the local NFL team's game aired at 1pm ET or 4 pm ET.

The show highlighted the main event for the UFC's first show on Fox: UFC on Fox 1. The event takes place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California on November 12th. The main event, Cain Velasquez vs. Junior dos Santos, is for the UFC heavyweight title and will air live on Fox.
