For a third straight event, Saturday's Spike TV "UFC Prelims" special aired to underwhelming ratings. According to figures gathered by MMA Nation, the UFC 139 special drew an average audience of 1.2 million viewers.

Despite viewership rising from the record-lows of UFC 136 (1 million) and UFC 137 (1.1 million), Saturday's total still ranks among the bottom 25-percent of all 25 Spike-televised "UFC Prelims" specials.

The one-hour broadcast also drew a 0.9 household rating, a 1.10 in males 18-49, and a 1.1 in males 18-34. Among all basic cable networks, UFC 139's prelims ranked number-one in their time slot for the male 18-34 demographic, and number-two overall among males 18-49, behind ESPN's college football broadcast of No. 1 LSU vs. Mississippi.

Ratings peaked to 1,383,000 as audiences tuned in to witness "The Ultimate Fighter 8" winner Ryan Bader crush Jason Brilz via first-round knockout.

UFC 139 took place on November 19th at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Cailfornia.
