UFC On Fox 2: Four Non-Title Fights Planned For Broadcast, According To White

As expected, the UFC's network foray into the Windy City will highlight more fights than its debut on Fox. Four times as many, to be exact. In an interview with Ariel Helwani, UFC President Dana White lifted the veil on his upcoming sophomore effort, UFC on Fox 2.

"It's two greats fight that I think a lot of people will be interested in," White explained, before elaborating. "Actually, we're going to go with more fights than that. There will be more than two. I think four."

Previously, UFC ringside commentator Mike Goldberg revealed plans of a two-and-a-half hour runtime for the February broadcast.

The new is a welcome respite for any mixed martial arts fans disappointed by the UFC's one-hour, one-fight network debut. Yet, even with all the hinting, White refused to announce any big names for the headlines, only divulging that a UFC championship belt will not be up for grabs.

"I haven't told Fox (the match-ups) yet," he explained. "I'm going to tell them on Monday. So once I tell them, I can tell the rest of the world."
