ROUND 1 - Both fighters standing orthodox. Miocic taking the center and landing some decent outside leg kick. Single leg dump from Miocic, but Beltran is able to stand. The fighters clinch along the fence. Both fighters return to center. Miocic landing some decent counterpunches and kicks throughout the course of the round, but nothing significant.

ROUND 2 - Beltran trying to hurry Miocic, but another single leg dump from Miocic puts Beltran on the mat. Miocic on top from side control, but a failed submission attempt lets Beltran back to his feet. Beltran manages to gets Miocic to the floor and even fires off a few very nice punches, but Miocic stands and now the fighters clinch along the fence. Beltran rips a couple of body shots, but Miocic uses another single leg dump now working from half guard. Beltran is able to stand and now both fighters exchange leg kicks. As the fighters clinch Miocic fires off a hard right hand. Both fighters now essentially trading haymakers and both landing rather significantly. Beltran fires back with elbows and knees to the body.

ROUND 3 - Miocic takes the center of the cage. Hard inside leg kick from Miocic. Shovel punch from Miocic finds the mark for Miocic. Single leg attempt from Miocic actually stuffed this time. Miocic gets the takedown and briefly has control of Beltran's back before Beltran stands. The fighters separate, Miocic reaches for a takedown and can't get it. Miocic reaches for a takedown, it's stuffed, but Beltran slips and falls to his back. Miocic on top now working in half guard. Miocic passes to side now. Then mount. Then back mount.
