Despite taking place halfway across the world, Saturday's UFC 138 Facebook undercard will remain a live affair on the popular social networking site. According to promotion officials, fight fans can expect to stream the six-bout program beginning at 5:30 p.m. Birmingham time, translating to 12:30 p.m. ET/9:30 a.m. PT. The UFC confirmed the announcement on Monday.
Highlighting the Facebook undercard is light heavyweight bout between kickboxing standout Cyrille Diabate (17-7-1) and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu blackbelt Anthony Perosh (11-6). Also featured are welterweights Justin Edwards (7-1) vs. John Maguire (16-3), featherweights Michihiro Omigawa (12-10-1) vs. Jason Young (8-4), heavyweights Rob Broughton (15-6-1) vs. Philip De Fries (7-0), welterweights Chris Cope (5-1) vs. Che Mills (13-4), and bantamweights Chris Cariaso (11-3) vs. Vaughan Lee (11-6-1).
The entire UFC 138 main card is scheduled to air on tape-delay at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on Spike TV from the LG Arena in Birmingham, England. A high-flying middleweight matchup between Chris Leben and Mark Munoz is the night's featured bout.
