Bouts are beginning to be lined up for the Spike TV finale of season 14 of 'The Ultimate Fighter'. The Ultimate Fighting Championship announced today on their website a lightweight battle between the season 13 winner and a long-time UFC veteran:
"Verbal agreements are in for an explosive lightweight matchup between Ultimate Fighter season 13 winner Tony Ferguson and veteran striking specialist Yves Edwards December 3rd on the Ultimate Fighter Finale," said UFC President Dana White.
Ferguson enters this bout win a TKO stoppage over Aaron Riley at UFC 135 after the first round. Edwards recently defeated Rafaello Oliveira also at UFC 135 in the second round.
The event takes place at The Pearl at The Palm in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 3, 2011. The main card will be aired on Spike TV.
