UFC Live 6 Tallies $700K+ Live Gate Almost 10,000 Attending

The gate and attendance numbers for UFC Live 6: Cruz vs. Johnson (aka UFC on Versus 6) at Washington, D.C.'s Verizon Center saw 9,380 fans buy tickets for a total gate of $706,775. The numbers were revealed at the post-fight press conference.

MMA Junkie compiled the numbers for every UFC on Versus event and here's the list:

"UFC on Versus 6: Cruz vs. Johnson" (October 2011): $706,775 (9,380)
"UFC on Versus 1: Vera vs. Jones" (March 2010): $568,125 (6,443)
"UFC on Versus 4: Kongo vs. Barry" (June 2011): $562,310 (7,792)
"UFC on Versus 5: Hardy vs. Lytle" (August 2011): $539,000 (6,751)
"UFC on Versus 2: Jones vs. Matyushenko" (August 2010): $489,685 (8,132)
"UFC on Versus 3: Sanchez vs. Kampmann" (March 2011): $471,450 (8,319)

It looks like the UFC on Versus series is going out on top as the UFC's new contract with Fox won't allow for UFC parent company Zuffa to continue the Versus relationship. Versus is part of the Comcast-NBC media empire which had bid on the UFC contract earlier this year but lost out to Fox.
