UFC 137: Josh Koscheck Offers To Fight Carlos Condit

Always the gamer, Josh Koscheck made his presence felt in the immediate aftermath of the Georges St. Pierre fallout. Upon hearing news of St. Pierre's ill-timed knee injury and subsequent removal from UFC 137, the perennial welterweight contender offered his services against Carlos Condit to UFC president Dana White. While White greatly appreciated the gesture, he made it clear that Condit had chosen to wait for the title shot.

Hey @danawhite :) duty calls again???

Koscheck returned to the cage just weeks ago at UFC 135, wiping off a year's worth of ring rust long enough to collect a first-round knockout of UFC Hall of Famer Matt Hughes. Despite garnering an immense following of haters due to his role as the constant heel, the 33-year-old's fearlessness can never be called into question.

UFC 137 is scheduled for October 29th at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas Nevada. The main event is now a welterweight battle between former UFC lightweight champion B.J. Penn and former Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz.
