VIDEO: Douglas Lima Brutally Knocks Out Chris Lozano At Bellator 53

Lost amongst the splendor of UFC 136 was the fact that Bellator Fighting Championships had yet another spectacular show on Saturday night. Incredibly, eight of the nine bouts that lined Bellator 53 ended before reaching the judges' hands. Yet somehow Douglas Lima's brutal knockout of Chris Lozano out-shined them all.

Channeling his inner Frankie Edgar, the 23-year-old Brazilian prospect recovered from a harrowing first round to put Lozano to sleep with a right-hand-from-hell midway through the second. With the victory, "The Phenom" sent a message to all comers in the 170-pound division, while punching his ticket to the Bellator season-five welterweight tournament finals, where he will meet UFC-veteran Ben "Killa B" Saunders for the next shot at the promotion's welterweight champion, Lyman Good.

At the time of this writing, no date has been set for the match-up.
