ROUND 1 - Both fighters open orthodox and Oliveira is landing leg kicks right away. Oliveira catches a kick and follows Wisely to the ground on top. Oliveira is dropping bombs on Wisely and sits for a heel hook, which Wisely escapes. Oliveira tries it again, but Wisely escapes. As Wiley scrambles he leaves his left leg triangled and Oliveira takes the back. From there he cranks putting tremendous pressure on Wisely's knee. Looks like a calf slicer. He taps.
Official result: Charles Olivera defeats Eric Wisely by submission (calf slicer) at 1:43 of round 1.
