VIDEO: UFC 143 Nick Diaz Vs. Carlos Condit Preview

The UFC has released an extended preview video for UFC 143 featuring Nick Diaz vs. Carlos Condit. The two welterweights will do battle for the interim title while champ Georges St. Pierre recovers from ACL surgery.

The event takes place Sat., Feb. 4, 2012, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada and also features another welterweight bout between contenders Josh Koscheck and Mike Pierce. Koscheck had originally been slated to face Condit as Diaz was to challenge GSP, but the champ's injury caused a reshuffle on the card.

The winner of the Condit-Diaz bout may face GSP as early as this summer according to UFC president Dana White. According to GSP he won't be ready until November.

The rest of the card features: Roy Nelson vs. Fabricio Werdum, Renan Barao vs. Scott Jorgensen, and Ed Herman vs. Clifford Starks on the main pay-per-view card; and Dustin Poirier vs. Max Holloway, Matt Riddle vs. Jorge Lopez, Alex Caceres vs. Edwin Figueroa, Matt Brown vs. Chris Cope, Dan Stittgen vs. Stephen Thompson, and Rafael Natal vs. Michael Kuiper.
