UFC President Dana White announced at the UFC 133 post-fight press conference that "Evans vs. Ortiz 2" drew 11,583 fans for a live gate of $1.5 million. The event was held at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In the UFC 133 main event, Rashad Evans returned from a year-long layoff to rematch Tito Ortiz, who accepted the bout on just four weeks notice when "Suga's" original opponent, Phil Davis, went down with an injury. Evans defeated "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" with a knee to the midsection toward the tail end of round two.
In the co main event, former number one middleweight contender Vitor Belfort destroyed Yoshihiro Akiyama in less than two minutes, attacking him with furious fists that left him unconscious.

UFC 133: "Evans vs. Ortiz 2" just came to an end at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pa., featuring 11 total fights that aired on Facebook, Spike TV and pay--per-view (PPV).
After all the action ended, UFC President Dana White rewarded three fighters with $70,000 bonuses for their performances at the UFC 133 post-fight press conference.
The bonus winners include:
There were six decisions and five (technical) knockouts at UFC 133, which is the reason a bonus for "Submission of the Night" was not awarded. White also gave Brian Ebersole an additional $70,000 as a generous "thanks" for getting Dennis Hallman's "horrifying shorts off TV."
Hallman wore very skimpy Speedo-like shorts, which had the announcers, referee and most likely several other viewers grinning in disbelief.
