A light heavyweight contest between James Te Huna and Aaron Rosa has been added to the fight card of UFC on FX 2, according to reports from MMA Weekly. UFC officials have yet to confirm the bout.
The scrap marks the third time Australia's own Te Huna (13-5) has competed inside the Octagon in his home country. The owner of a 3-1 UFC record, the 30-year-old has proven himself a capable finisher, earning knockout wins over Anthony Perosh, Igor Pokrajac and Ricardo Romero. His lone loss came to rising star Alexander Gustafsson via first-round submission at UFC 127.
Rosa (17-4), meanwhile, has quietly pieced together a streak of five wins over his last six fights, capped by a majority decision victory over Matt Lucas in his light heavyweight debut at UFC on Fox. "Big Red" previously lost to Joey Beltran via third-round TKO at UFC 131.
UFC on FX 2 takes place on March 3rd, 2012 and will air live on FX. A welterweight match-up between Martin Kampmann and Thiago Alves is the night's main event.
