UFC 140 ION TV 'Prelims' Earn 808,000 Viewers

Saturday's UFC 140 ION TV prelims special collected 808,000 viewers.

Dec 13, 2011 - Saturday night's UFC 140 ‘Prelims' special drew an average of 808,000 viewers live on ION Television, according to reports from Sherdog. The numbers rank in second of the three ION TV ‘UFC Prelims' broadcasts, besting UFC 127 (714,00) but losing out to UFC 125 (829,000).

In addition, the broadcast earned a 0.55 rating in both the males 18-34 and males 18-49 demographics. By comparison, the UFC 139 ‘Prelims' special drew a 1.10 in males 18-49 and a 1.1 in males 18-34 on Spike TV.

Ratings peaked as Croatian light heavyweight Igor Pokrajac blasted through Krzysztof Soszynski in just 35 seconds in the broadcast's featured bout.

UFC 140 took place on December 10th at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada. UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones successfully defended his belt against Lyoto Machida in the night's main event.
